What the scan collects
When you take or upload a photo, the scan processes that photo and the answers you choose to provide about your hair and relevant history. These may be sensitive health-related information. Camera access is requested when you choose to take a photo; you can upload a photo instead. You do not need to provide a WhatsApp number to receive your free guidance.
How photos and answers are used
Your photo and answers are sent through our server to an external SI processing service to prepare educational observations and next steps. We do not save scan photos in our application database, and photos and medical answers are not attached to optional follow-up records. External processing services and hosting providers may process technical data under their own retention policies; we do not promise immediate deletion from those providers. SI guidance is not a medical diagnosis.
Optional WhatsApp follow-up and sample requests
If you consent to follow-up, we save your WhatsApp number, selected contact option, language and consent so our team can respond. A separate optional sample form collects your name, international phone number, delivery address and required acknowledgments for team review. These records are stored in our database, not just in your browser. Do not include extra medical information in contact requests. A request is not a confirmed appointment, prescription or order.
What can stay on your device
Your browser can retain language and display preferences and limited scan history. Some forms may remember contact details you previously entered. Clearing this site's browser data removes local information but does not remove contact records already saved on our server. Leaving the scan, or using a different device, is not a server-side deletion request.
Analytics, Google tags and technical information
The site uses the existing Google Ads tag and aggregate events for starting a scan, completing guidance and successfully submitting an optional contact request. Custom event payloads do not include your photo, answers, phone number, diagnosis or result text. Google and our hosting services may process browser, device, network and page information, and Google tags may use cookies or similar technologies. Analytics can be blocked by your browser; it is not required for the scan to work. If Google Analytics is enabled later, these same privacy-limited events can be sent to it.
Retention, sharing and deletion
Saved contact records are used for the request you made and operational handling. We have not published a fixed retention period; you can ask the team to review or delete your saved contact information using the form below, or by replying to the team's WhatsApp message. The team may need to verify control of the original number before acting. A submitted request is not automatic deletion. Browser history must be cleared separately. If you choose to share a result through WhatsApp, you review and send it yourself and WhatsApp's own terms apply.
